A woman with long dark hair and red tips wearing a pink shirt, holding a clapboard and a pink feather duster, sitting at a table with various colorful objects, including a pink bag, a remote control, a yellow speaker, a jar of candies, and other pink and yellow items, smiling and speaking into a microphone.
A person holding a pink champagne glass with a swirl of gold glitter attached to the rim.

This is where the real talk starts.

Pet health can feel confusing, emotional, and sometimes very expensive. I’m here to explain what matters, when you actually need to worry, and what your options are.

No panic. No judgement. Just honest advice from someone who lives this every day.

About me

The vet behind the chaos, the cases, and the very honest pet advice

I’m Vanessa, a Cambridge-trained vet, advanced practitioner in orthopaedics, and founder of The Vet Station.

I created Nessa the Vet because pet owners deserve advice that is clear, honest, and actually useful. I talk about the real side of veterinary life, from surgery and vet bills to rescue work, independent clinics, and the things pets absolutely should not have eaten.

Basically, serious medicine without making it sound like a government leaflet.
